Terms of Service

What you agree to when you book a trip with us, and what we commit to in return.

Last updated 1 Aug 2026

Draft pending legal review. This is a standard policy written to cover what an Indian payment gateway requires before activation. It should be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

01Who we are

Mistiii Tales organises small-group travel experiences in India and internationally. Our registered office is at H-210, H Block, Sector 63, Noida 201301. You can reach us at mistiiitales@gmail.com or +91 96063 37793.

These terms apply to every booking made through this website, over WhatsApp, by phone, or through an approved agent.

02Booking and payment

Bookings are made by messaging us — WhatsApp, phone or email. A booking is confirmed when we have received your advance payment and issued you a booking reference. Until then, a seat is held but not secured. This website does not take payment.

The advance is ₹1,000 per person on every trip, and is stated on each trip page. The balance is due on the day of travel, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. If it is not paid, we may release your seat and treat the booking as cancelled under our cancellation policy.

All prices are in Indian Rupees, per person, on a twin-sharing basis unless stated otherwise. The price shown at the time of booking is the price you pay — we do not add surcharges after confirmation.

03What is included

Each trip page lists inclusions and exclusions in full. Anything not listed as included is not included. Flights and travel to the trip start point are excluded on every trip unless explicitly stated.

We reserve the right to substitute a stay, route or activity of equivalent standard where circumstances require it — road closures, weather, permit changes or a property failing our standards. Where a substitution materially reduces what you booked, we will tell you before departure and offer you a transfer or a refund.

04Your responsibilities

You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visa or permit required for the trip, and for arriving at the stated start point on time. We will tell you what is needed and help where we can, but we cannot obtain documents on your behalf.

You must disclose any medical condition, dietary requirement, allergy or mobility limitation at the time of booking. Some of our trips reach high altitude or involve long days on foot, and the eligibility notes on each trip page are there to be taken seriously. We may decline or cancel a booking where we believe a trip presents a genuine risk to you or to the group.

Travel insurance is mandatory on all international trips and on all trekking trips, and we may ask to see your certificate before departure.

05Code of conduct

Every traveller agrees to our code of conduct at the point of booking: no harassment of any kind, no photographing other travellers or local people without their consent, no illegal substances, and the host's decision on matters of safety is final.

A serious breach means leaving the trip immediately at your own cost, with no refund. We have enforced this and will continue to.

06Changes and cancellations by us

We may cancel a departure if it does not reach a viable group size, or if conditions on the ground make it unsafe or impossible to run. Where we cancel, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid us, or a free transfer to another date — your choice.

We are not liable for costs you have incurred separately, such as flights, which is why we recommend booking refundable fares or holding insurance that covers a supplier cancellation.

07Cancellations by you

Cancellation terms are specific to each trip and are written in full on that trip's page, because a permit-bound Himalayan departure cannot carry the same terms as a weekend by a river. The terms shown on the trip page at the time of your booking are the ones that apply to you.

In every case, your seat is transferable to another person at no cost to you, at any point up to departure.

08Liability

We take reasonable care in selecting the stays, transport operators and activity providers we work with, and we carry a trained host on every departure. Travel of this kind nevertheless carries inherent risk, particularly at altitude, on water and on mountain roads.

We are not liable for loss, injury or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including weather, road and pass closures, strikes, acts of government, or the acts of third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under Indian law.

09Photography and stories

Hosts and travellers take photographs on our trips. We ask before using an identifiable photograph of you in our marketing, and you can decline or withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

If you submit a travel story through this website, you keep the rights to it. You grant us permission to publish it here, and separately to pass it to our publication partners, always with your credit. Nothing is published before you have seen and approved the edited version.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
