How safety actually works here
Women-only departures are led by women hosts, without exception. She travels with you from the pick-up to the drop, not just for the sightseeing days.
Nobody in a Mistiii Tales group sleeps somewhere a member of our team has not stayed first. If a property fails, we drop it — we have dropped four this year.
Twin sharing is always with another woman on the trip. A private room is available on every trip if you would rather, and the price is on the trip page.
You are paired on day one. It sounds like school and it works: two people who notice when the other one has gone quiet or wandered off.
A ground line that a human answers for the entire duration of the trip, not a call centre and not a WhatsApp bot.
You know who you are travelling with before you land. First names, cities, and the group chat opens two weeks out.

Ask usIt is the best place to start, and roughly a third of every women-only group is on their first solo trip. You are not organising anything, you are not navigating anything, and there are twelve other women in exactly the same position. Several of our hosts started this way.
Most women on these departures are between 18 and 35. If you want to know what a specific trip looks like before you book, ask us and we will tell you honestly.
Ask us and we will send a proper itinerary with the stay names and addresses, the host's name and number, and the ground line. Most families relax considerably once there is a document with phone numbers on it. Several travellers have put a parent on a call with the host before departure.
Yes, just tell us at booking and we will room you together.
Yes, and please tell us rather than tough it out. Hosts carry supplies, itineraries have flex, and vegetarian, vegan and Jain food is arranged on every trip. On treks the host will talk you through what to expect at altitude.
No. Same trip, same price structure. The women-only departures of a route are priced the same as the mixed ones unless the itinerary itself differs.
The group is free, nobody sells you anything in it, and most people lurk for a month before they book. That is completely fine.
